Bistable relay with manual operation and DIN rail mounting

This device functions as a mechanical pulse switch – a single press of the control signal (12 V AC or DC) changes its state, and a subsequent press returns it. It does not require continuous power to hold the position, reducing standby power consumption to 6 mA. A short pulse is enough to toggle the contact – ideal for remote control systems, e.g., installations with multiple lighting control points.

It has one normally‑open contact pair (1 NO), meaning it can control a single circuit – e.g., one light, fan, or heater. It is intended for AC circuits with 250 V voltage and a rated current of 16 A. It allows connection of lamps up to 1800 W, fluorescent tubes up to 800 VA, and with parallel compensation up to 900 VA. In Duo configuration (with series compensation) it can handle fluorescent tubes up to 1600 VA.

DIN‑rail mounting (17.5 mm width, 63 mm depth) enables easy integration with other distribution board components. The device offers manual switching – useful during service or when the control system is off. It is insulated for 250 V and complies with DIN EN 60669-1 and DIN EN 60669-2-2.

Operating temperature range: –5 °C to +40 °C – sufficient for most residential and commercial installations. Control power can be either AC (12 V) or DC – although the manufacturer’s data do not specify a DC value, the function is available and can be used in low‑voltage systems (e.g., building automation). Control frequency: 50–60 Hz – compatible with European mains.

Dimensions: 83 mm height, 17.5 mm width, 63 mm depth – standard compatibility with Hager modular enclosures and other manufacturers. Protection rating IP20 – suitable for mounting inside a distribution board.

No additional power source is required for state monitoring – the contact position is held mechanically. This means that even if the control network fails, the circuit state remains unchanged.
