The COSMOS 1x18M distribution box is a practical solution for flush-mounting, designed to protect electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. It provides a safe and aesthetic arrangement of modular devices, such as circuit breakers and residual current devices. The doorless design facilitates access to installation elements during inspections and maintenance.

Functionality and installation

The housing made of durable plastic (housing material) in white (RAL 9010) ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The width of the distribution box, 416 mm, and the possibility of mounting 18 modules allow for flexible adaptation to the needs of a specific installation. Flush-mounting provides a discreet appearance and saves space. Inside there is a DIN rail, facilitating the mounting of modular devices, and terminal blocks for neutral and earth conductors – which significantly simplifies installation work.

Application and compliance with standards

The distribution box meets the IP30 standard, which means protection against touching with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. This is a basic level of protection, sufficient for most standard indoor applications. The possibility of expanding the distribution box allows it to be adapted to the changing needs of the user. It is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 400V and a rated current of up to 63A. Protection class II guarantees additional safety of use.
