Installation switch – reliable circuit control

The SFB232 switch is a double-pole (2P) element used for convenient and safe control of electrical circuits with a rated current of 32A and a voltage of 230V. The design with a central OFF position (I-0-II) allows you to disconnect the circuit, as well as switch between two independent circuits. This switch finds application both in home installations and commercial facilities where reliability and ease of use are required.

Functionality and installation

Manufactured by the renowned Hager company, the SFB232 switch is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. Installation is done by connecting the power supply from below, which facilitates installation in modular switchboards. The width of the device is 2 modules (35mm), which allows for efficient use of space in the distribution cabinet. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against accidental contact.

Safety and technical parameters

The SFB232 switch was designed with user safety in mind. The rated switching capacity is 0.677 kA, and the short-circuit strength (Icw) is 0.48 kA, which guarantees effective protection of the circuit against overload and short circuit. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, the switch ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It is worth noting the lack of normally open and normally closed contacts – the device has only changeover contacts (2 pieces). Low minimum rated voltage of 230V ensures stable operation in typical network conditions.
