The VZ314RJ communication module is a covered RJ45‑socket (product code RJ45‑) compliant with Category 6A (ISO A), designed for installation in Hager VZ systems. It operates flawlessly with data transfers up to 10 Gbit/s, making it ideal for modern LANs, IP‑cameras, servers, or high‑throughput devices. There are no “magical” features – just a proven construction.

Design and installation – no compromises

Main advantage? Die‑cast zinc metal housing – not only durable but also effectively shields the signal. This means less interference and a more stable link, especially with long cables or near electromagnetic sources. The cable is introduced at a 180° angle, allowing flexible routing in tight spaces – e.g., when installing in deep cabinets or behind stud walls. Protection against strain is provided by a cable tie at the module, not an additional component – fewer parts to install, fewer errors.

Installation is universal: suitable for concealed, surface, and stud‑wall mounting. The dimensions are compact: 20 mm height, 15 mm width, and 50 mm depth – it does not “bulge” from the housing and does not block other modules.
