Comb busbar for installation in distribution boards with insulation and forked connection

The busbar is designed for safe and compact distribution of phase and neutral voltage in distribution cabinets. Its construction allows mounting directly on a DIN rail, and the insulation provides protection against accidental contact and effectively reduces the risk of short circuits between poles. A cross‑section of 10 mm² permits a rated current of 63 A without overheating – sufficient for most distribution circuits in residential and commercial construction.

Compatibility with devices and mounting flexibility

The busbar works with devices of 12‑module width, which corresponds to standard residual‑current circuit breakers, AFDDs and other Hager modules type ARFxxxD. It can accommodate up to four devices simultaneously – ideal for arrangements where phase L+N separation with individual switches is required. Thanks to the forked connection no additional screws or clamps are needed – just insert the module and the contact is made automatically. Additionally, the busbar supports devices with a neutral bus and auxiliary contacts – allowing easy integration of signaling or remote‑control functions without extra wiring.

Practical features for the installer

Length 212 mm and spacing 17.8 mm match the standard module layout in cabinets – no adjustments or cuts are required. The busbar is pre‑assembled, but can be cut to suit the project – e.g., if only 8 modules are needed. The grey colour makes it unobtrusive in the cabinet, yet easy to locate during inspection. Impulse voltage 4 kV and maximum operating voltage 400 V guarantee safety even during brief over‑voltages – e.g., lightning strikes or load switching. No protective covers are necessary – the insulation itself meets Class II requirements.
