Comb busbar with forked connection, 4‑pole, for 3P+N and 1P+N circuits

Busbar KDN450E is a mounting component designed for low‑voltage distribution boards where a uniform, safe and compact phase‑and‑neutral bus is required. It is intended for connecting up to 14 devices – both those with a neutral pole and without – thanks to built‑in insulation and a structure that allows simultaneous connection of phases L1, L2, L3 and N in a single module.

A conductor cross‑section of 16 mm² permits safe carrying of a rated current of 80 A – sufficient for most distribution circuits in single‑family homes, small commercial buildings or medium‑power industrial installations. The forked connection provides fast and reliable contact without the need to tighten screws, greatly speeding up installation and eliminating the risk of poorly made connections.

The length of 1035 mm corresponds to 58 DIN modules, providing ample space for arranging residual‑current circuit breakers, circuit breakers and other modules. Rated operating voltage is 415 V and impulse voltage resistance is 4 kV, ensuring safety even under variable conditions or network disturbances.

The busbar is made of gray insulating material, facilitating identification in installations with multiple busbars. Integrated insulation protects against accidental touch or phase‑to‑phase short‑circuit effects. The design allows connection of both three‑phase inputs (3P+N) and single‑phase outputs (1P+N) – ideal for systems requiring separate protective circuits or branch circuits.

Note: this busbar is not intended for connecting devices with auxiliary contacts – its function is solely to distribute phase and neutral current. For full mechanical protection, a protective cover (available as an accessory) should be added.

Compliant with IEC/EN 61439-1 and IEC/EN 61439-2 standards. Intended for installation in distribution boards of type IT or TN-S/TN-C-S.
