Horizontal forked comb rail 3P2 16 mm² 48 m KDN383B
3‑pole fork‑type busbar for installation in distribution boards
The busbar is designed for safe and compact distribution of phase voltage in electrical installations equipped with over‑current circuit breakers of the MCN/MBN/NBN/NCN/NDN series. Its construction allows simultaneous connection of up to 19 devices while maintaining a uniform and orderly wiring layout.
Using a fork‑type electrical connection, the busbar provides a steady, low‑resistance current flow – without the need to tighten screws or install additional connectors. A 16 mm² cross‑section permits continuous current up to 80 A, making it suitable for circuits with motors, heaters or other high in‑rush‑current equipment. Compatibility with C‑characteristic breakers ensures tolerance of temporary overloads without nuisance tripping.
Busbar insulation prevents accidental contact with other components in the cabinet – eliminating the risk of phase‑to‑phase short circuits. High impulse voltage resistance (4 kV) further enhances safety under overloads or lightning‑strike conditions. The gray colour is standard for phase components in Hager systems and aids identification during inspections.
The 1000 mm length corresponds to 57 modules (TE), meaning it occupies exactly the space required for 19 single‑pole devices (3 poles × 19 = 57 TE). It cannot be shortened – it is ready for “as‑is” installation. It does not include a neutral conductor – it is not suitable for circuits with a neutral (N).
Installation is simple: just slide it into the cabinet rails and snap the breakers into their positions. No tools or additional parts are required – everything works “click‑in”. All devices connected to this busbar are automatically supplied with phase voltage evenly, without losses or potential differences.
Please note: this is not a terminal for external cables – it functions solely as a distributor between breakers inside the cabinet. Installation requires a qualified person, as with any switchgear component.
