Comb busbar for distribution boards with insulation and fork‑type connections
The busbar is designed for safe and compact distribution of phase voltage in low‑voltage distribution boards. It has insulation, which eliminates the risk of accidental contact with live conductors—especially when installed in tight cabinets or where N‑type devices are present. Fork‑type terminals allow quick and reliable connection to Hager circuit breakers and residual‑current devices from the MCN, MBN, NBN, NCN, and NDN series.
For the installer — simplicity of mounting and compatibility
Installation requires no special tools—simply insert the busbar into DIN guides and press the devices into their designated positions. The 17.8 mm pitch matches the standard width of Hager modules, so any 17.8 mm (1 TE) breaker fits perfectly. The busbar has 57 modules (56 M), allowing up to 14 single‑pole devices to be mounted—for example, four 4P breakers or a combination of 2P+2P+2P+2P. It cannot be shortened—it is a continuous, indivisible piece, which ensures uniform conductivity and avoids errors caused by cutting.
For the end user — stability and safety
Terminals with a 10 mm² cross‑section handle continuous currents up to 63 A—sufficient for most residential and local circuits. An impulse voltage rating of 4.5 kV provides resistance to surges typical in TN-S or TN-C-S networks. Compatibility with a working voltage up to 400 V ensures safe operation in 230/400 V three‑phase systems. The busbar also supports devices on the N bus, so it can be used together with 4‑pole RCDs without additional connections. It does not support devices with auxiliary contacts. The gray colour is standard for the Hager system and does not stand out among other distribution board components.
