Fork‑type comb busbar for 2P circuits with N

The busbar is designed to work with Hager ARFxxxD series modular devices, which have auxiliary contacts and a neutral connection. It serves as a central distribution point for phase and neutral currents in distribution boards, eliminating the need for individual wiring of each phase to each device.

It is insulated, providing safety during installation and operation – there is no risk of accidental short‑circuit between poles. The fork‑type connection means no screws or tools are required: simply insert the conductor into the slot and lock it. A 10 mm² cross‑section is sufficient for a continuous current of 63 A – ideal for powering protective groups, automation units or motors with high starting current.

Dimensions are matched to standard distribution cabinets: length 185 mm, width 10.5 modules (17.8 mm per module), allowing exactly 4 devices to be placed in one line. It operates at voltages up to 400 V and withstands voltage impulses up to 4 kV – meeting the requirements of installations in residential and commercial buildings.

It can be used in circuits with N (neutral) as well as without – but here the neutral is standard. The gray colour is universal and does not stand out among other cabinet components. No additional protection is required – however, if you wish to protect the ends from touch or dust, special caps are available (sold separately).

Installation is simple: mount it on a DIN rail, connect the phase conductors and neutral – and it’s ready. No additional connections between switches are needed. This not only saves installer time – it also reduces the number of potential failure points.
