Construction and installation

The switch is designed for flush-mounting, providing an aesthetic appearance and discreet integration into the wall. Claw or screw mounting method provides flexibility during installation, and the installation depth of 26 mm requires a minimum mounting box depth of 35 mm. Plug-in self-clamping connections greatly facilitate and speed up installation work, eliminating the need for additional tools. Additionally, the mounting plate provides stability and secure fastening.

Functionality and safety

The Lumina switch is a basic element with a 1-pole configuration, designed to control lighting or other electrical devices with a load of up to 10 A at 250 V. The switching current for fluorescent lamps is 10 AX. The button characteristic allows its use, for example, to turn on a doorbell – after pressing, there is a mechanical rebound of the button. The backlight (glow lamp) performs a supervisory and orientation function, making it easier to locate the switch in the dark or dim lighting. Halogen-free construction increases safety of use, and the IP20 degree of protection provides protection against touching with a finger and against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The surface finish is matte, which adds elegance and prevents smudges.
