Purpose and compatibility with the Hager system

The FL419A mounting plate belongs to the Hager brand modular control and distribution cabinet system. It is designed for installation inside enclosures as a mounting plane for electrical components - circuit breakers, switches/disconnectors, terminal blocks, and other elements requiring stable mounting. The dimensions 693 × 1230 mm allow for its use in larger cabinets of this system, where a large working surface is required.

Construction and finish

The plate is made of aluminum - a material valued in electrical applications for its favorable strength-to-weight ratio. Aluminum does not rust like steel, which is important in industrial conditions. The surface is protected by galvanization, which further increases corrosion resistance - galvanizing protects the sheet metal against moisture and minor mechanical damage (scratches), which in the case of bare metal would lead to corrosion.

The plate is not perforated - it has a smooth working surface. The lack of perforation means a uniform load distribution across the entire surface and the absence of holes that could weaken the structure at critical points.

Installation and operation

The aluminum mounting plate weighs less than a steel equivalent of comparable dimensions, which facilitates transport and on-site installation. The galvanized surface does not require additional maintenance - standard cleaning during cabinet inspections is sufficient. The dimensions 693 × 1230 mm provide a format that allows for flexible component placement in both horizontal and vertical layouts (the plate can be mounted on any side).
