Circuit breaker HMX132 – robust protection for circuits with motors and high inrush currents

Protects single‑phase circuits with a rated current of 32 A, ideal where short‑term current surges occur – e.g., when starting pumps, fans, compressors or electric tools. Characteristic C provides slower tripping compared to type B, eliminating unnecessary trips at device start‑up.

Mounted on a DIN rail in a distribution board, occupies 1.5 modules (27 mm width) and has a mounting depth of 70 mm – compatible with most standard enclosures. Connections: single‑core wires from 1 to 70 mm² and multi‑core up to 50 mm² – a wide range sufficient for both thin control conductors and thick power conductors. Clamping torque is 3.6 Nm – enough for a secure connection without risking insulation damage.

Short‑circuit rating 50 kA at 230 V and 400 V means the breaker can safely interrupt even very large fault currents – making it suitable for both residential installations and small commercial facilities. Energy limiting class 3 and pollution degree 3 guarantee stable operation even in dusty or humid technical rooms.
