Surface-mounted distribution box for safe and organized cabling

This Hager Vega series surface-mounted distribution box is a solid and functional solution for installing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Designed for wall mounting, it provides a safe and aesthetic arrangement of electrical devices. Transparent doors facilitate inspection of the installation status without having to open the housing.

Construction and user features

The distribution box is made of high-quality plastic (polystyrene), which guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Its dimensions – 400 mm wide, 475 mm high and 146 mm deep – allow for comfortable installation and access to the elements inside. Thanks to two rows and 18 modules in each row (a total of 36 modules), it offers sufficient space for protective devices, residual current circuit breakers and other devices. The DIN rail inside the housing enables easy mounting of devices.

The use of transparent doors is not only convenient for visual control, but also facilitates identification of individual circuits. In addition, the distribution box has grounding and neutral terminal blocks, which ensure proper connection of protective and working conductors. The IP40 protection class guarantees protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm, which is important in environments with increased dust.

Installation and application

The Vega distribution box is easy to install on the wall thanks to a dedicated leveling system. The possibility of expansion allows it to be adapted to changing installation needs. It is ideal for use in:
