This is not a standalone surge limiter, but a connection kit – a mounting element that enables the attachment of a T3 module to a DIN rail and a distribution board. It operates only in conjunction with the appropriate protective module, e.g., SPC043N. Without it the module cannot be properly installed.

It is mounted on a standard 2 TE busbar, allowing compact integration in distribution boards of typical building and industrial installations. It has no protective function itself – its purpose is to provide a safe and durable electrical connection between the protective module and the network.

For the installer: simplicity and compatibility

Designed for mounting on a DIN rail in distribution boards with a 2 TE busbar – compatible with Hager systems, but it does not operate independently. Used only in TN-S and TT networks – not suitable for other network types. Status indication is only optical and visible on the protective module, not on this kit. IP20 protection requires installation inside the enclosure of the distribution board – it is not intended for external or humid locations.

For the end user: you don’t see it, but it matters

You will not notice this component after installation – it does not light up, make noise, or have buttons. However, if a surge occurs, this kit ensures that the energy is safely diverted through the T3 module. Without it, the protection simply does not work.
