Trip coil release for MCB, RCCB, RCBO 12-24VDC / 24-48VAC MZ204
Universal tripping device for Hager MZ204 circuit breakers
This tripping device, catalog number MZ204, is a compact device used to remotely trigger miniature circuit breakers (MCB), residual current devices (RCCB), and combined residual current circuit breakers (RCBO). Its versatility makes it suitable for both home installations and more complex industrial systems.
The tripping device allows you to control the protection using a pulse or a continuous signal applied to the coil. This solution is particularly useful in situations where it is necessary to remotely disconnect the power in the event of a failure, inspections, or other events requiring intervention. This allows the installer to easily integrate the protection with building automation systems or energy management systems.
Application and compatibility
The device is compatible with thermal-magnetic circuit breakers and overload relays. Screw connections provide a secure and durable electrical connection. The tripping device is powered by an AC/DC voltage in the range of 12-48V, which increases its flexibility and allows it to be adapted to different working conditions. It should be noted that the device is not intended for use with motor protection circuit breakers or standard circuit breakers.
Constructional features and operating parameters
The tripping device is characterized by small dimensions – 83 mm high, 18 mm wide and 68 mm deep – which makes it easy to install even in tight switchboards. It can operate in a wide temperature range, from -25°C to 60°C, and can be stored at temperatures from -40°C to 80°C. The maximum power consumption of the device is 27 VA. The response time to the control signal is 200 ms. The rated insulation voltage Ui is as high as 4000 V, which ensures a high level of safety.
