The HANSABASIC bath-shower mixer is a complete solution for a modern bathroom, combining thermostatic functionality with a shower set. Designed for wall mounting, it offers universal design in chrome and excellent operating parameters.

Construction and materials

The mixer body is made of brass - a material that guarantees long-term resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Composite elements further increase the durability of the construction while maintaining the optimal mass of the device. A reach of 160 mm provides adequate maneuvering space over the bathtub.

The mixer is equipped with a fixed spout and a pressure-independent rotary diverter, which allows for smooth switching between bath/shower modes. Internal components include a thermostatic cartridge for precise temperature regulation and a debris filter protecting the mechanism from damage.

Shower system and user functions

The complete set includes a round shower head with a diameter of 9 cm, a shower rail with a length of 700 mm with a movable bracket, and a shower hose with a length of 1500 mm. The shower head offers three types of water jets: normal (even and soft), refreshing (strong jet activating the body), and relaxing (gentle jet pleasant for the whole body).

The EcoFlow function allows for water consumption savings while maintaining full user comfort. At a standard pressure of 3 bar, it achieves an economical flow of 11.4 l/min, while the maximum flow is 20.4 l/min.

Safety and temperature control

The thermostatic system is equipped with advanced safety features. The temperature lock button set at 38°C effectively prevents accidental setting of a higher temperature, eliminating the risk of burns - which is particularly important for families with children.

THERMO COOL technology minimizes the heating of the mixer body during operation, further increasing user safety. Temperature regulation is performed using a dedicated knob, while a separate lever allows for water flow control.

Installation and operating parameters

The mixer is designed for wall installation with a connection spacing of 150 ± 15 mm. G1/2" threaded connections allow for standard connection to the water installation. The maximum hot water temperature can be +65°C, allowing it to work with most heating systems.

The device operates efficiently at a working pressure from 1 to 10 bar, making it compatible with various types of water installations. Noise class II according to the ISO 3822 standard ensures quiet operation even at high flow rates.

Regulatory compliance and certification

The mixer meets the requirements of the European standard EN1111 regarding thermostatic mixers. It is equipped with backflow prevention according to DIN EN1717 EB, which protects the installation from back-contamination.

All elements are resistant to limescale, which significantly simplifies maintenance and extends the lifespan of the device. The CASCADE® system ensures optimal water jet quality through long-term use.
