Heating film – comfort and flexibility in every room

The HD-GDC heating film is a modern heating solution, ideal for use in various installations – from houses and apartments, through campers and boats, to flying vehicles. Its flexibility allows it to be adapted to almost any surface, even undulating or with gentle angles. It is a lightweight heating system that takes up minimal space while providing even heat distribution.

Application and characteristics

This film with a power of 220 W/m² and a width of 50 cm is particularly recommended under floating floors – laminate panels, vinyl SPC and layered boards. The film's construction based on Carbon-H HD technology with a multi-layer arrangement of PET components guarantees trouble-free operation for years. A thickness of 0.338 mm ensures durability and flexibility, and the Safe Cut HD system allows for safe cutting every 12.5 cm with a narrow cutting strip (only 1 cm), which translates to even heat distribution.

Installation and efficiency

The HD-GDC film is easy to install and can be both the main source of heat (minimum 70% of the floor area) and a supplement to an existing heating system. In the case of buildings with good thermal insulation (WT 2021), a recommended power is 80 W/m², in older buildings (e.g. tenements) – 140 W/m², and in passive buildings – 60 W/m². Remember that the film should not be under permanent structures directly adjacent to the substrate.

For the full functionality of the system, it is recommended to use additional elements: thermostats (manual or programmable), connection kits, electrical cables, installation boxes, protective conduits, as well as a vapor barrier film and an insulating substrate adapted to the type of floor. Choosing the right components will allow you to create a complete and efficient underfloor heating system.
