The 45° elbow from the Heatpex Aria Aduro series, made of plastic and insulated with polystyrene foam (EPS), is a key element of the air distribution system in mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery (MVHR). Designed for building efficient and energy-saving ventilation systems, it combines lightness, durability, and excellent insulation properties. Construction and properties

This elbow has a diameter of 200 mm, made of high-quality plastic, covered with a 17 mm layer of expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation. The use of EPS ensures a low thermal conductivity coefficient (λ=0.029 W/mK), which translates to minimal energy losses and reduces condensation of water vapor inside the ducts. The smooth inner surface of the duct minimizes air flow resistance, ensuring effective ventilation. Additionally, the material is biologically resistant thanks to the addition of graphite, which prevents the development of fungi, mold, and bacteria. The D tightness class guarantees adequate sound insulation.
