Acoustic silencer for HRV systems

This spigot silencer, with a diameter of 125 mm and a length of 1 meter, is designed to effectively reduce noise in mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery, particularly in the HEATPEX ARIA ADURO system. Its construction allows for direct mounting on the rekuperator spigots, minimizing the level of sound propagating into the rooms.

Construction and operation

Inside the silencer there is a perforated pipe surrounded by a layer of fiberglass insulation with a thickness of 25 mm. The whole is protected by an aluminum-polyester shell, which ensures durability and resistance to external factors. This construction effectively absorbs and dampens the sounds generated by the airflow. In addition, metal spigot flanges with a factory-mounted gasket guarantee a tight and secure connection with the remaining installation elements.
