Chain guide cable – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 512 is a solution designed for demanding applications, especially in marine and industrial environments. Designed for use in cable chains, it provides a reliable connection even with intense bending and exposure to external factors. Its construction and materials guarantee long-term operation and safety.

Construction and properties

The cable is distinguished by a solid construction, using stranded copper conductors according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6 standards. The cores are surrounded by a special insulation, and the entire cable is protected by a screen of tinned copper wires (coverage approx. 85%). An additional foil under the braid increases the effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding (EMC). The polyurethane outer jacket (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils, UV radiation and low temperatures. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
