This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 512 is a solution designed for operation in demanding industrial environments, especially in applications with chain guides. The cable is distinguished by its high flexibility, resistance to external factors and compliance with safety standards. It is ideal where reliable connections in continuous motion are important.

Construction and properties

The SHIPFLEX 512 cable is characterized by a solid construction. It is made of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², which provide adequate conductivity. These strands are twisted, which increases their flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The strands are surrounded by a special insulation, and the entire cable has a screen of tinned copper wires, minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer polyurethane coating (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils, chemicals and extreme temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
