Cable for chain guides – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded chain cable HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 512 is a solution designed for operation in demanding industrial environments, as well as in marine applications. It is characterized by high resistance to external factors, flexibility and durability, which translates into trouble-free operation of machines and devices. The cable is particularly recommended for use in cable chains, where it is exposed to continuous bending and movement.

Construction and properties

The SHIPFLEX 512 cable is distinguished by a solid construction. It has five copper conductors with a cross-section of 10 mm², which ensure efficient current conduction. The conductors are insulated with a special material, and the entire cable is shielded, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils, UV radiation and low temperatures – down to -40°C. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
