Cable for chain guides, 1000 V UL shipflex 512 6G4/AWG12 grey, halogen-free, shielded 19912

Chain guide cable – reliability in demanding conditions

This shielded HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX 512 cable is a solution designed for operation in harsh conditions, especially in marine and industrial applications. The cable is characterized by high resistance to external factors, flexibility and safety of use. It is ideal where reliable connections are required in continuous motion and exposure to mechanical loads.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, which guarantees its durability and long service life. Copper strands, twisted strands class 6 (according to DIN VDE 0295) provide good conductivity and flexibility. The strands are insulated with a special material, and their identification is done with numbers, which facilitates installation and servicing. The screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in applications sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils, chemicals and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

  • Mechanical strength: Designed to work in chain guides, resistant to bending and stretching.
  • Chemical resistance: PUR coating provides resistance to oils, lubricants and many chemicals.
  • Safety: Halogen-free coating minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
  • Flexibility: Class 6 twisted strand provides high cable flexibility, making it easier to lay and connect.
  • EMC shielding: Protects against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.
  • Wide temperature range: Operation at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (flexible) and -40°C to +80°C (stationary).

Applications and compliance with standards

The SHIPFLEX 512 cable finds application in various industrial, marine and automation systems. It will be perfect for powering mobile devices, industrial robots, construction machines and everywhere where high reliability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions are required.

  • Marine industry: Application in the marine environment due to high resistance to corrosion and moisture.
  • Robotics: Ideal for powering industrial robots working in continuous motion.
  • Industrial automation: Application in control and automation systems of machines and devices.
  • Construction machinery: Used to power construction equipment exposed to harsh working conditions.

The cable meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1 and has a UL Style 20234 certificate confirming its compliance with American safety standards. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
