Chain guide cable 600 V UL/CSA m.FLEX 512-C-PUR 2x1/AWG18 grey, PUR, halogen-free, shielded 21652
Chain guide cable for demanding applications
This shielded chain guide cable HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-C-PUR UL/CSA is designed for operation in harsh industrial environments where high flexibility, resistance to external factors and protection against electromagnetic interference are required. This cable is used in machines, CNC machining centers, robotics and other moving structures where the cable is exposed to continuous bending and friction. The polyurethane (PUR) based construction provides high mechanical and chemical resistance, and the braided shield minimizes the impact of interference on transmitted signals.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. The multi-strand copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm² are insulated with special PP, which ensures good flexibility and abrasion resistance. The strands are twisted in a way that minimizes the risk of damage during bending. In addition, the cable has a protective braid and a halogen-free inner jacket made of TPE for increased safety. The braided shield made of copper wires effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in modern control systems. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, resistant to oils, greases and other chemicals.
Application and compliance with standards
This cable meets the requirements of UL/CSA standards and has certificates confirming its safety and quality. It is ideal for use in industrial environments where high reliability and resistance to extreme working conditions are required. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C) it can be used both indoors and outdoors. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions. The use of a shield makes it ideal for transmitting control signals in environments with a high level of electromagnetic interference.
