This shielded chain guide cable HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-C-PUR UL/CSA is designed to operate in extreme conditions where high flexibility, mechanical resistance and protection against electromagnetic interference are required. It is an ideal solution for both installers and end users who need a reliable connection in moving parts of machines and equipment.

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures long-term and trouble-free operation. Made of high-quality materials such as polyurethane (PUR) and polypropylene (PP), it offers resistance to abrasion, oils, chemicals and UV radiation. A braided screen of copper wires minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on transmitted signals. In addition, the use of halogen-free materials increases safety in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of 36 copper strands with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², which are twisted in a way that ensures maximum flexibility. The strands are insulated with special PP, and their identification is carried out using numbers in accordance with DIN VDE 0293. The yellow-green protective strand is present from 3 strands and arranged on the outside. The whole is surrounded by a special protective braid and a halogen-free inner jacket made of TPE and a protective foil. The outer polyurethane (PUR) coating provides additional mechanical and chemical protection.

• Wide temperature range: The cable can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation.
