This specialized chain guide cable, designated HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-C-PUR UL/CSA, is designed to operate in extreme conditions requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It meets UL/CSA standards and features a halogen-free coating, increasing safety. This cable is used in machines, machine tools, robotics and other devices with moving parts.

Construction and properties

The cable is distinguished by its advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Multi-wire copper conductors of class 6 are insulated with special PP, guaranteeing flexibility and abrasion resistance. The conductors are twisted in parallel with an optimal twist pitch and additionally secured with a special protective braid. A braided copper screen (approx. 85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in precise automation applications. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. The use of halogen-free TPE as an inner jacket further increases safety in the event of a fire.
