Chain guide cable 600 V UL/CSA m.FLEX 512-C-PUR 7G1,5/AWG16 grey, PUR, halogen-free, shielded 21670
Chain cable for demanding applications
This specialized HELUKABEL MULTIFLEX 512-C-PUR UL/CSA chain cable is designed to operate in extreme conditions, offering reliability and durability in applications requiring frequent bending. It meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its safety and quality. The cable is shielded, minimizing electromagnetic interference, and its construction ensures long-term operation even in harsh industrial environments.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that combines flexibility, mechanical and chemical resistance. Multi-wire copper conductors of class 6 provide good conductivity and easy installation. PP insulation and an outer polyurethane (PUR) coating guarantee high resistance to abrasion, oils and solvents. Additionally, the use of a copper braid screen protects against electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in modern control systems. The cable is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire.
- Flexibility: Twisted strand construction provides high flexibility, allowing for repeated bending without damage.
- Chemical resistance: PUR coating is resistant to oils, solvents and other aggressive chemicals.
- Shielding: Copper braid minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.
- Safety: Halogen-free coating reduces the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
- Durability: Used materials ensure long service life even in harsh working conditions.
- Temperature range: The cable maintains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C during installation.
- Application in machines and robotics: Ideal for use in machines, CNC machining centers, robotics and other devices requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors.
Technical specifications
The cable has 7 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², which allows for the transmission of an appropriate amount of control signals. The rated voltage is 600 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 14.5 mm. Core identification is done using numbers for easy assembly and servicing. Thanks to the use of high-quality insulating materials, the coupling resistance does not exceed 250 Ohm/km and the minimum insulation resistance is 100 MOhm x km. The cable meets the requirements of UL Style 20939 and IEC 60332-1-2 (fire resistance).
