The cable consists of two conductors made of NiCr-NiAl alloy, insulated with silicone. Additionally, a CuSn screen provides protection against electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments exposed to noise. The outer silicone coating provides flexibility and resistance to high temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C.

Unlike thermoelectric cables (extension cables), compensating cables use substitute materials in the conductors, which allows maintaining measurement accuracy with longer sections.
