Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, consisting of two conductors made of special metals or alloys, insulated with silicone. A braid of tinned steel or copper wires provides additional mechanical protection and resistance to damage. The outer coating, also made of silicone, guarantees flexibility and durability.

• Conductors made of PtRh13-Pt or PtRh10-Pt provide appropriate thermoelectric characteristics for type R thermocouples.
• Silicone insulation of conductors and the outer coating allow operation in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C.
• The cable is designed for continuous operation at temperatures up to +180°C.
• The cable construction allows for extending the thermocouple without disturbing the measurement signal.
• Option to order control cables with PVC or silicone insulation, in quantities from 1 to 25 conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 – 2.5 mm².
• Possibility of manufacturing cables with a special construction to individual order.
