Control and power cable halogen-free JZ-600 HMH 3G1 mm² black cores numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 12748
Universal control cable for demanding applications
This halogen-free, flexible control cable JZ-600 HMH is a solid solution for both professional installers and end-users. The cable is designed for transmitting energy in stationary and flexible installations where high fire resistance and external factors are required. It will be useful in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning systems, and in the metallurgical industry.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures safety and reliability. It is made of unbleached class 5 (flexible multi-wire) copper conductor, insulated with a halogen-free TI6 compound. The conductors are twisted in parallel and marked with white numbers applied to the black insulation, which facilitates identification during installation. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors in the outer layer). The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 compound, providing resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing during assembly.
Safety and compliance with standards
A key advantage of the cable is its halogen-free nature – in the event of a fire, it releases a minimal amount of toxic gases, increasing the safety of people and equipment. The cable meets stringent European standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11. It also has certificates confirming its fire resistance (tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24) and corrosion resistance to fire gases (according to DIN VDE 0482-754-2). The cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
- The operating temperature range of the cable is from -15°C to +70°C for flexible applications and from -40°C to +70°C for fixed installation, guaranteeing reliability in various environmental conditions.
- The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 V, allowing its use in medium-voltage installations.
- The minimum bending radius is 15 x cable diameter for flexible applications and 7.5 x cable diameter for fixed installation, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
- The cable exhibits radiation resistance up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad), allowing its use in environments exposed to UV radiation.
- The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.4 mm, which is important when planning cable routes and selecting appropriate cable glands.
- The conductor cross-section is 1 mm², providing adequate current-carrying capacity for typical control applications.
