This halogen-free MEGAFLEX 500 flexible cable is a reliable solution for a wide range of applications – from installations in buildings, through machines and equipment, to ship structures and renewable energy sources. The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed with safety and durability in mind. Made of stranded copper conductors, insulated with a special halogen-free polymer, it provides effective protection against short circuits and overloads. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by a durable coating of halogen-free polymer in gray (RAL 7001). This makes the cable resistant to oils, UV radiation and weathering. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

The cable meets stringent safety standards, including DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939 / UL-Std. 758. It has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low voltage directive 2014/35/EU. Tests were carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3 and IEC 60332-3-24 – guaranteeing its fire-resistant and self-extinguishing properties.
