This grey, four-core M.FLEX 512-PUR 4G2.5 cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is designed for operation in harsh conditions, especially where high flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads are required. This cable is ideal for use in energy chains, robotics, and in machines and equipment exposed to continuous bending. Made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), it provides safety and reliability in demanding industrial environments.

Construction and properties

The cable is distinguished by its construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Multi-strand copper conductors of class 6 (very flexible) are insulated with modified PP, providing good flexibility and abrasion resistance. Black cores are marked with white numbers for easy identification. The yellow-green protective conductor is located outside the structure (from 3 cores). The whole is surrounded by a special outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR), which is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils and UV radiation. The lack of a common screen and no screen on the bundles means that this cable is intended for applications that do not require protection against electromagnetic interference.

The permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary), which allows it to be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V and the test voltage is 3000 V. The minimum bending radius is 5x cable diameter for flexible operation and 3x cable diameter for fixed laying.
