Construction and properties

The MEGAFLEX 500-C cable is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It consists of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², each marked with a number in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-334. The conductors are twisted in parallel and surrounded by a separating foil and a braided screen of tinned copper wires, which provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The conductor insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, and the outer jacket is also made of a halogen-free material in gray (RAL 7001). The cable is flexible, resistant to oils, UV radiation, and weathering.

Application and compliance with standards

This cable is perfect for both fixed and mobile installations (with free movements without mechanical stress). It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939 / UL-Std.758. This ensures that the cable meets the highest standards of quality and safety. The use of a braided screen increases resistance to electromagnetic interference – for optimal EMC, it is recommended to make a two-sided contact of the braid with cable lugs.
