Halogen-free cable for inverters TOPFLEX®-06-EMV-UV-3-PLUS-2XSLCHK-J 3x4+3G0.75 mm² black, color-coded conductors acc. to DIN VDE 0293-308 18052044
Power cable for inverters – reliability and installation safety
This halogen-free TOPFLEX®-06-EMV-UV-3-PLUS-2XSLCHK-J cable is an optimal solution for powering motors with inverters, providing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and high resistance to external factors. The cable's construction is designed for demanding industrial applications, guaranteeing stable and safe operation of devices.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that combines a number of important features:
- Copper conductors: Made of stranded copper class 5 (according to IEC 60228), which ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue.
- XLPE insulation: The use of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) increases the current carrying capacity and operating temperature of the conductors up to +90°C, compared to traditional PE insulation.
- Double shielding: AL/PET foil and a braid of copper wires provide effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), minimizing the impact on surrounding devices.
- Halogen-free jacket: The outer jacket material is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire, reducing the emission of toxic gases.
- UV resistance: The cable is resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.
Applications and benefits
The TOPFLEX®-06-EMV-UV-3-PLUS-2XSLCHK-J cable finds wide application in various industries:
- Inverter power supply: Ideal for connecting motors with inverters/inverters, ensuring electromagnetic compatibility.
- Automotive, food and technology industry: It performs well in demanding industrial environments where high reliability and resistance to external factors are essential.
- Fixed and mobile installations: Can be used in both fixed and occasionally mobile installations, in dry, damp or wet rooms.
- Direct burial: Possibility of direct burial in the ground (observing appropriate installation rules), which increases the flexibility of application.
Additional advantages:
- Increased current carrying capacity: Thanks to XLPE insulation, the cable can operate at higher current loads than traditional PE cables.
- Wide operating temperature range: Permissible ambient temperature of the cable after installation is from -40°C to +106°C.
- Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 standards regarding the absence of halogen and IEC 60332-1-2 standards regarding fire resistance. The reaction to fire class is Dca, s2, d1, a1 (according to EN 13501-6).
- Flexibility: Class 5 conductor provides high cable flexibility, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
