Flexible cable JZ-500 HMH is a high-quality control cable designed for use in demanding industrial environments and building installations. It is characterized by high resistance to external factors, including oil, and excellent fire-resistant properties thanks to the use of halogen-free materials. The construction with multi-strand copper conductors provides flexibility and ease of installation, and numerical identification of the conductors simplifies connection.

Construction and Properties

The cable is made of stranded copper conductors insulated with halogen-free TI6 polymer. The conductors are black with white number printing, which facilitates their identification during installation. The protective conductor (in versions with a protective conductor) is yellow-green and located in the outer layer. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free TM7 outer jacket in gray (RAL 7001). The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the length to your needs. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.

The cable has passed a series of tests confirming its safety and compliance with standards: fire resistance tests, corrosion of fire gases and halogen-free properties. It has EAC certification.

Application

JZ-500 HMH is widely used as a measuring, control and steering cable in mechanical engineering, conveyors and technological lines, in the construction of installations, and in the metallurgical and steel industries. It can be used in both fixed and mobile installations, in dry, wet and humid rooms – also surface-mounted. It should be noted that it is not intended for applications with frequent tensile stresses or mechanical movements.

Technical Characteristics

Cable JZ-500 HMH has a nominal conductor cross-section of 1 mm², a rated voltage of 500 V and a conductor class of 5 (multi-strand flexible). The permissible operating temperature is from -15°C to +70°C during installation and from -40°C to +70°C after installation (without vibration). The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 12.3 mm. The cable contains 16 conductors. It is flexible and radiation resistant up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad). The minimum bending radius for flexible installations is 12.5 x Ø cable, and for fixed installations – 4 x Ø cable.
