Flexible halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety in every circuit

This multi-core flexible cable JZ-500 HMH is an ideal solution for applications in industry, construction and anywhere requiring high resistance to external factors and safe operation. The cable is characterized by a construction providing high flexibility and ease of installation, and its halogen-free coating minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.

This cable has been designed for a wide range of applications – from installations in machines and equipment, through control and measurement systems, to wiring in residential and industrial buildings. Thanks to its high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation for a long time.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH cable consists of 18 stranded copper cores, with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with halogen-free TI6 compound. The cores are black with white numeric printing for easy identification. From 3 cores, a yellow-green protective core is also available. Twisted cores are surrounded by a grey (RAL 7001) outer sheath made of halogen-free TM7 compound. This construction provides high cable flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage and weathering.

• Halogen-free: Materials used in production do not contain halogen, which means no release of toxic gases during combustion – crucial for the safety of people and equipment.
• Flexibility: Multi-wire core construction (class 5) provides high cable flexibility, making it easy to lay even in tight spaces.
• Resistance to external conditions: The cable is resistant to oils and designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C during installation.
• Durable identification: Black cores with white numbers make it easy to identify individual wires during installation and servicing.
• Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE and IEC standards, guaranteeing high quality and safety of use.
• Low smoke emission: Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, the cable is characterized by a low level of smoke emission during a fire, which increases the chances of evacuation and reduces material losses.

Application and technical parameters

The JZ-500 HMH cable is used as a measuring, control and steering cable in various industries – from mechanical engineering to metallurgy and construction. It is ideal for both fixed and occasionally movable installations where high flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. The cable can be used in dry, damp and outdoor environments. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.7 mm and the rated voltage is 500V. The minimum bending radius for flexible laying is 12.5 x the outer diameter of the cable and for fixed laying 4 x the outer diameter of the cable.
