Flexible halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety

This multi-core JZ-500 HMH 18G1 control cable is an excellent solution for use in demanding industrial conditions. It is characterized by high flexibility, resistance to external factors and, importantly, the absence of halogen in the coating, which increases safety in the event of a fire. This cable is designed for transmitting control, measurement and power signals in machines, conveyors, production lines and building installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of 18 stranded copper cores twisted together to ensure flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Each core is insulated with halogen-free TI6 polymer, which minimizes the risk of releasing toxic gases during a fire. Black cores are permanently marked with white numbers for easy identification. The protective core (in versions with a protective core) is yellow-green and located on the outside of the cable construction. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer coating made of TM7 mixture in gray color (RAL 7001), providing additional mechanical and chemical protection. The cable has a nominal core cross-section of 1 mm² and an outer diameter of approximately 12.9 mm.
