Halogen-free control and power cable JZ-500 HMH 20G0,5 mm² black cores numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 11211

Flexible cable JZ-500 HMH is an advanced solution for use in industry, construction and installations where high fire resistance and resistance to external factors are required. This cable, made of high-quality materials, provides reliable connections in difficult conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards. It is made of unannealed copper strands twisted according to class 5 (VDE 0295, BS 6360, IEC 60228). The core insulation is made of halogen-free TI6 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-7/ DIN EN 50363-7), which ensures safety in case of fire – minimizes the emission of toxic gases and smoke. The cores are black with white number printing for easy identification. The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores) placed in the outer layer. The outer sheath is made of halogen-free TM7 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-8/ DIN EN 50363-8) in gray color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and assembly.

Application and operating parameters

JZ-500 HMH cable is intended for use as a measuring, control and steering cable in machines, conveyors, technological lines, construction of installations, as well as in metallurgy and steelworks. It will work well in both fixed and occasionally movable installations – provided there are no continuous mechanical stresses. It can be used in dry, wet and humid rooms, also outdoors.

The rated voltage is 500 V. The permissible ambient temperature during operation is -40°C to +70°C, and during installation -15°C to +70°C. The minimum bending radius is flexibly: 12.5 x outer diameter; stationary: 4 x outer diameter. The outer diameter is approximately 11.3 mm (for the 20G0.5 version), and the nominal core cross-section is 0.5 mm². The cable contains 20 cores.

The cable meets stringent safety standards regarding fire resistance and emission of toxic substances. It has certificates confirming:

• Fire resistance according to DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-24

• Self-extinguishing and flame-retardant according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-24

• No corrosion of fire gases according to DIN VDE 0482-754-2, DIN EN 60754-2, IEC 60754-2

• No halogens according to DIN VDE 0482-754-1, DIN EN 60754-1, IEC 60754-1

• Low smoke density according to DIN VDE 0482 part 1034-1+2/ DIN EN 61034-1+2, IEC 61034-1+2/ BS 7622 part 1+2

Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The product has a CE mark confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive (2014/35/EU).
