Flexible cable JZ-500 HMH is a halogen-free control cable, designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It is characterized by high fire and oil resistance, making it an ideal choice for demanding environments. This cable is particularly recommended for use in machines, conveyors, production lines, as well as in construction, metallurgy and steelworks.

Construction and Properties

The JZ-500 HMH cable has a multi-strand, flexible copper conductor (class 5 according to VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The conductors are insulated with a halogen-free polymer (TI6), which minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. Black conductors are numbered with white digits for easy identification. The cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in the version with a protective conductor) placed in the outer layer. The outer jacket is made of a halogen-free polymer (TM7) in gray (RAL 7001). The cable construction provides resistance to radiation up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad).

Operating and installation parameters

The JZ-500 HMH cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The minimum bending radius for moving cables is 12.5 x outer diameter, and for stationary cables – 4 x outer diameter. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 14.8 mm with a conductor cross-section of 10 mm². The cable is metered for easy installation and adaptation to installation needs.

This cable is not intended for applications where there are continuous movements or mechanical stresses. It is ideal for dry, wet and humid installations, also surface-mounted. Remember to choose the appropriate version – with a yellow-green protective conductor (G) or without it (x).
