Halogen-free flexible cable – reliability and safety

This flexible control cable JZ-500 HMH 4G35 is a solution designed for demanding industrial applications and electrical installations. The cable is distinguished by its high fire resistance and resistance to external factors, and its construction ensures long-lasting and safe operation. Made of copper conductors, insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, it guarantees minimal risk of toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire.

This cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, conveyors, production lines, construction of installations, metallurgy and steelworks. It will work well in both fixed and occasionally movable installations – however, remember that it is not intended for operation subjected to continuous movements or mechanical stresses. The possibility of use in dry, wet and humid environments expands its scope of application.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH 4G35 cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring reliable operation:

• Conductors: copper, stranded twisted (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228), which ensures flexibility and resistance to material fatigue.
• Insulation: made of halogen-free TI6 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-7 / DIN EN 50363-7), minimizing the emission of toxic substances during a fire.
• Conductor marking: black conductors with white digit printing (DIN VDE 0293) facilitate the identification of individual wires during installation and maintenance.
• Protective conductor: yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors) increases safety of use.
• Outer sheath: made of halogen-free TM7 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-8 / DIN EN 50363-8), gray color (RAL 7001), provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering.

Additionally, the cable meets stringent standards regarding fire resistance (IEC 60332-1-2) and low halogen content (IEC 60754-1). The cable is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

• Minimum bending radius: 12.5 x cable diameter (flexible) or 4 x cable diameter (for fixed laying) – ensures comfortable work during installation.
