Halogen-free control cable JZ-500 HMH

This flexible control cable, designated JZ-500 HMH, is designed for applications requiring high fire resistance and resistance to oils. The cable's construction from halogen-free materials ensures safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic gases and smoke. This cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, conveyors, technological lines, and in the construction of installations.

The cable is characterized by twisted copper strands, TI6 halogen-free mixture insulation, and an outer sheath made of TM7 mixture. The strands are black with white number printing for easy identification. A version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (x) is also available. The cable is metered and meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, marked with the CE symbol.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH cable has been designed with reliability and safety in mind. Its construction includes:

• Strands: Copper, multi-wire (class 5 according to VDE 0295/IEC 60228), unannealed, twisted.
• Insulation: Halogen-free TI6 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-7 / DIN EN 50363-7), providing safety in case of fire.
• Strand marking: Black strands with white numbers facilitate identification during installation.
• Protective conductor: Available option with a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 strands).
• Outer sheath: Halogen-free TM7 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-8 / DIN EN 50363-8), gray color (RAL 7001).

Additionally, this cable has the following properties:

• Oil resistance.
• No silicone or cadmium in the materials used in production.
• No substances interfering with painting.
• Meets standards for low flammability and smoke emission (DIN VDE 0482-332, DIN EN 60332, IEC 60332).
• Resistance to corrosive fire gases (DIN VDE 0482-754, DIN EN 60754, IEC 60754).

The JZ-500 HMH cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures:

• Temperature after installation (without vibration): -40°C to +70°C
• Rated voltage: 500 V
• Rated strand cross-section: 6 mm²
• Approximate outer diameter: 14.7 mm
• Minimum bending radius: 12.5 x outer diameter during movement; 4 x outer diameter for fixed installation.

This cable is intended for use in dry, wet and damp rooms, both permanently and occasionally for mobile installations. However, it is not intended for applications subject to continuous movement or mechanical stress.
