Flexible cable JZ-600 HMH 5G16 is a solution for installations requiring high flexibility and safety. This cable, with a cross-section of 16 mm², is designed for use in machines, production lines, air conditioning units and steel mills. Its construction with five black, numbered cores facilitates installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

The JZ-600 HMH cable features a halogen-free outer jacket and core insulation made of cadmium-free and silicone-free materials. These are key features for applications where fire safety and environmental protection are a priority. The copper cores are multi-stranded, flexible (class 5), providing high resistance to bending and vibration. Additionally, the cable is characterized by a wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installation and from -15°C to +70°C for flexible operation.

Application and compliance with standards

This cable is ideal for both stationary and flexible installations. It can be used in dry, wet and humid environments and laid openly. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11. It also has high properties related to radiation resistance (up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg). This is a product compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

Additional tests confirm its properties: fire test according to DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-24 and self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties according to VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2. The corrosivity of fire gases has been confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-754-2 / DIN EN 60754-2 / IEC 60754-2 and the absence of halogen is confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-754-1 / DIN EN 60754-1 / IEC 60754-1.
