Universal control cable for demanding applications

The JZ-600 HMH 7G2.5 cable is a flexible control cable with a voltage of 0.6/1kV, designed for use in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning systems and steel mills. Its construction ensures reliable operation in both stationary and flexible installations – where resistance to bending and movement is required. This cable is particularly recommended in environments exposed to moisture, but should not be used in places with frequent mechanical stress.

Safety and compliance with standards

A key feature of the JZ-600 HMH cable is its halogen-free construction. This means that in the event of a fire, it releases a minimal amount of toxic gases and smoke – increasing the safety of people and equipment. It meets strict European standards (DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/ DIN EN 50525-3-11) and has a certificate of conformity with the Low Voltage Directive (CE). Additionally, it has passed fire resistance tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24) and corrosion resistance tests for fire gases (DIN VDE 0482-754-2).

Construction and user parameters

The cable is constructed of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture. The conductors are black with white numbers for easy identification. All conductors are twisted in parallel to ensure flexibility. The outer jacket is made of a halogen-free TM7 mixture, which further increases the level of safety. The minimum bending radius during fixed laying is 7.5 x cable diameter, and in the case of flexible operation – 15 x cable diameter. The cable is resistant to radiation up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad). The operating temperature range is from -15°C to +70°C for flexible operation and from -40°C to +70°C for fixed laying. The test voltage is 4000V.
