Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is a flexible control cable with a voltage of 500V, designed for use in machines, conveyors, production lines, air conditioning systems and metallurgy. The construction with halogen-free materials ensures safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the emission of toxic gases. This cable is ideal for both stationary and flexible installations where high mechanical and chemical resistance is required. The high density of the copper screen guarantees effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in modern control systems.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with a multi-strand copper core, insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a braided screen made of tinned copper wires, providing high screening effectiveness. The outer jacket is made of a halogen-free TM7 mixture, which increases safety. This makes the cable meet stringent standards regarding low flammability and the absence of toxic substance emissions during combustion. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

Application and technical parameters

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is used in dry, damp and wet environments and in surface installations. It is particularly recommended in places with an increased risk of fire and where high signal transmission quality is required. The cable is characterized by an allowable operating temperature of -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and -15°C to +70°C (flexible). The core cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the rated voltage is 500V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.7 mm. Thanks to its construction and properties, this cable performs perfectly in industrial and commercial applications where reliability and safety are a priority.
