Flexible control cable – reliability and safety in every application

This shielded, flexible 500V JZ-500 HMH-C cable is a solution designed for demanding industrial applications and installations where reliable signal transmission and protection against interference are crucial. This cable is used in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning systems, and in metallurgy. Thanks to its construction based on copper conductors and a halogen-free outer jacket, it ensures safe use even in difficult conditions.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable stands out with its careful construction, which guarantees its durability and functionality. It is made of 18 multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture. The conductors are black with white numeric printing for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors) placed in the outer layer. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable signal transmission. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free TM7 outer jacket in gray (RAL 7001).

• Compliance with standards: The product meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51/DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards and has a CE marking confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Technical parameters and applications

The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500V and a conductor cross-section of 1 mm². Its outer diameter is approximately 13.6 mm. The minimum bending radius is approx. 12.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and approx. 4 x cable diameter for stationary laying. The coupling resistance does not exceed 250 Ohm/km. This cable is ideal for anywhere where reliable transmission of control and measurement signals is required in difficult industrial conditions – from machines and conveyors to air conditioning installations and steel mills.
