Universal control cable for demanding applications
This flexible, halogen-free control cable JZ-500 HMH-C 4G0,5 is a solid solution for both professional installers and end users. The cable is designed to transmit control and measurement signals in a variety of industrial and construction applications. Its construction ensures safety and reliability, and the absence of halogen in the coating minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of four copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², which are twisted to ensure flexibility. Each conductor is insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, which guarantees safety in the event of a fire. The conductors are numbered, and one of them is yellow-green – this is the standard protective conductor. The whole is surrounded by a separating foil and a screen of tinned copper wires (braid), which provides high resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket is made of a halogen-free TM7 mixture, which further increases safety and resistance to external factors. The outer diameter of the cable is 6.4 mm.
It is worth mentioning the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C for stationary installations and from -15°C to +70°C for flexible installations. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51/DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 and has a CPR Dca certificate.
Applications and benefits
The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is perfect for the following applications:
- Machines and equipment: ideal for internal connections of industrial machines, conveyor belts and production lines.
- Building installations: will work in air conditioning, ventilation systems and electrical installations of buildings.
- Metallurgical industry: resistance to high temperatures and chemicals allows its use in harsh industrial conditions.
- Stationary and flexible installations: thanks to its flexibility, it can be used in both fixed and mobile installations.
Why choose this cable?
- Safety: the absence of halogen minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire.
- Resistance to interference: a screen of tinned copper wires provides high resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMC).
- Flexibility: twisted conductor construction provides high cable flexibility, making it easier to install and lay.
- Wide operating temperature range: can be used in various temperature conditions (-40°C to +70°C).
- Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of European safety standards (CPR Dca).
- Durability: made of high-quality materials guarantees long life and reliable operation.
