Universal halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety
This flexible control cable JZ-500 HMH-C, with a cross-section of 1 mm² and four cores, is designed for demanding industrial applications and electrical installations. The cable is distinguished by its high resistance to external factors and ensures safe and reliable signal transmission. It is ideal for both professional installers and end-users looking for a solid solution.
Construction and properties
The JZ-500 HMH-C cable features an advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper cores, made in class 5 (flexible stranded), guarantee flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Core insulation is made of halogen-free TI6 mixture, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in case of fire. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification, and a yellow-green protective core (available in 3-core and more versions) provides additional safety. The whole is surrounded by a separating foil and a braid screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage), which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is made of halogen-free TM7 mixture, providing resistance to abrasion and weathering. The outer diameter of the cable is 7.2 mm.
Applications and benefits
The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is widely used in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning equipment, and steel mills. It will work well in both stationary and flexible installations – where high resistance to bending and twisting is required. Thanks to the screen, it ensures interference-free transmission of signals and pulses, which is crucial in control and measurement systems. The halogen-free materials used in production increase safety in the event of a fire, minimizing the risk of poisoning by toxic fumes. The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51/DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and -15°C to +70°C (flexible). Coupling resistance is a maximum of 250 Ohm/km.
