This halogen-free, shielded JZ-500 HMH-C cable is the ideal solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for transmitting control and measurement signals in machines, production lines, air conditioning installations and in the metallurgical industry. Thanks to the high-density screen, it ensures interference-free data transmission, minimizing the risk of electromagnetic interference.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Made of stranded copper conductors, insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture, which ensures safety in case of fire – limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and additionally protected by a separating foil and a braided screen made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage). The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 mixture, resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage.

Additionally, it passed fire tests according to standards DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24 and IEC 60332-3-24.

The rated voltage of the cable is 500 V, it has 5 conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². The outer diameter is 6.9 mm, and the operating temperature range is from -15°C to +70°C for flexible applications and from -40°C to +70°C for stationary installation.
