Flexible cable 500V JZ-500 HMH-C is a high-quality control cable designed for applications requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable features an advanced construction ensuring its durability and safety. Copper cores, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5 and IEC 60228 cl.5 standards, are insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-7/ DIN EN 50363-7). Black cores are marked with white numbers for easy identification (DIN VDE 0293), and a yellow-green protective core appears from the third core. Twisted cores are separated by a separating foil and then surrounded by a braided screen of tinned copper wires (85% coverage), providing high resistance to electromagnetic interference. The whole is covered with a halogen-free outer coating made of TM7 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-8/ DIN EN 50363-8) in gray (RAL 7001). The cable is metered and has LSOH properties – low smoke emission and halogen-free.

Application and technical parameters

This cable is ideal for use in dry, humid and wet environments, both in stationary and flexible installations. However, it is not intended for operation under continuous tensile or mechanical stress. Thanks to the high-density screen, it ensures interference-free transmission of signals and pulses – meeting the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The cable has been tested for fire resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-24) and self-extinguishing and non-flammability (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2). Additionally, it meets the standards for corrosion resistance to fire gases (DIN VDE 0482-754-2, DIN EN 60754-2, IEC 60754-2) and halogen-free (DIN VDE 0482-754-1, DIN EN 60754-1, IEC 60754-1).

The rated voltage is 500V. The cable maintains flexibility in the temperature range of -15°C to +70°C and can be used stationary at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. The core cross-section is 0.75 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 7.4 mm. The cable has five cores, a screen in the form of a braid of tinned copper wires, and insulation made of halogen-free TI6 mixture. The outer coating is made of halogen-free TM7 mixture.
