Flexible control cable JZ-500 HMH-C – reliability and safety of installation

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is a flexible control cable with a rated voltage of 500V, designed for use in machines, conveyors, production lines, as well as in air conditioning installations and metallurgy. The cable construction ensures reliable transmission of signals and pulses, and the use of halogen-free materials increases safety in the event of a fire. It is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end customers looking for high-quality cables for various applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper strands, twisted into a rope (class 5), are insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, which provides resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. Black strands are numbered with white color for easy identification. A braided screen made of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in industrial environments. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer coating made of TM7 mixture in gray color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered, which facilitates precise adjustment of the length to the needs of the installation.

The cable meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11. It has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. Additionally, it meets the requirements for fire tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24, BS 4066 part 3, DIN EN 60332-3-24, IEC 60332-3-24) and self-extinguishing and non-flammability (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2).
